Kid Quote

When I came to work this morning there was a note from the mom of one of our adorable little 5 year old girls. It said:
"My daughter wanted to tell you that she changed her birthday to today :)"

I don't know if she wanted to get presents or just be older.

I wish it was that easy to get a fun day all for myself with presents. I would do it every week, just not the older part.

I have been wanting to get out in my yard and plant flowers so I had the kids in my preschool class bring water bottles and we made terrariums and planted wildflowers. They were so excited to see tiny green shoots in a couple of days. One of the little boys told me "My dirt is growing!" He'll be extra excited when he sees flowers!
